I REMEMBER

I remember when you came to me

I remember us being happy

I remember you having to go

I remember you leaving me so

I remember the midnight call

I remember but couldn't understand at all

I remember asking: "why did you have to leave?"

I remember crying but couldn't beleive

I remember asking: "why did you have to die?" and

I remember not being able to say Goodbye :-(

MY GRANDPA

Strong and Stubborn

Wise and Knowing

Strict but Sweet

A big heart no one can Beat

He is my Grandpa and will always be

No matter where I am he will always See

I have always been my Grandpa's Girl

I remember when we would Dance and twirl

He would listen to me Sing all Day

"You are my Angel" he would say.

I remember when he taught me all about his CB's

He taught me Morse Code and everyone talked to Me

He watched over me when I was sick

And we all knew what made him tick

We "played" with his trains and his little train towns

We built and flew airplanes and rarely went down

We sat in his office and talked all day

But now old and tired He will soon go away

I will miss him so much and I know he can not stay, but

I will always be My Granpas Girl though he's gone away.

Crying though you can not see

Crying for someone or something

Crying even though your laughing

Crying though you don't know why

Crying just so you can cry

Crying for a close friend

Crying at another end

Crying at a heartfelt loss

Crying praying at the Cross

Crying you cry today

Crying wondering why he/she has gone away

A Peaceful Meadow A World Away

A Green Pasture That Sweeps And Sways

Clear Blue Rivers Run Steadily

While Fluffy White Clouds Float In The Breeze

A Colorful Bridge Sits In The Distance

Animals Run And Play Without Resistance

Their Fragile Bones And Deep Wounds Healed

And To Sickness Never Again Will They Yeild

In The Sun All Day They Play

While They Await That Faithful Day

The Day That They Will Hear The Long Awaited Sound

They Day They Will Stop And Look Around

They Will Quickly Pause And Look To That Distant Ridge

And Then Run To Their Owner Who Awaits By The Bridge

Then They Will Cross Over Together

Owner And Pet Together Forever
